GEORGE VI, proof set 1945 Bombay mint, base metal issues of pice, one anna, two annas, quarter anna, half rupee and rupee, (Pr. notes as Specimen coins available from Bombay mint only pice, anna, two annas, others are not reported by Pridmore, Krause notes rupee as well, KM.533, 539, 543, 557). Sharp FDC and brilliant, higher values all very rare. (6)

Ex. S. Hagley Collection. $$ From all records of the restruck issues the quarter and half rupee appear unpublished, the rupee is unpriced in Krause.
