BENGAL PRESIDENCY, Farrukhabad mint, 45 san copper Coinage, not dated, single pice, in the name of Shah Alam II (A.H.1173-1221, A.D.1759-1806), with frozen Regnal Year 45, a mule of the Calcutta one pai sikka issue and the Farrukhabad rupee, (Pr. 342 [This Coin], KM.-). Good very fine with even brown colour, excessively rare, if not unique.
Ex. Wodak Collection. $$ The Pridmore collection had no examples of this mule nor has any other examples been offered in recent years. The example illustrated in the Pridmore book is this piece taken from a photo in Pridmore's possession.
