BENGAL PRESIDENCY, Murshidabad Mint, 1830 Milled issue, Perpetual 19 san sicca series in Standard Gold Currency, in the name of Shah Alam II (A.H.1173-1221, A.D.1759-1806), Gold mohur, (12.195 grams), Regnal Year 19 (fixed), with crescent Privy mark for the new Calcutta mint and with oblique milling to right, (Pr. 84, KM. 114). Extremely fine, rare.

Ex. Glendining's auction sale, Nov. 18, 1976 (lot 389). $$ The cresent appearing on the reverse of the mohur was adopted in the new Calcutta mint in 1830, the small minute dot on the top line still continues.
