MADRAS PRESIDENCY, 1803-1808 European Minting, Soho mint Birmingham, proof one cash in silver, 1803, obv. company crest, rampant lion, date below, rev. 'cash' in Persian, (Pr. 215, KM. 315a). Die crack on reverse (9 o'clock), attractive, uneven light tone, very rare.

Ex. J. Gartner Collection. The Pridmore silver proof cash (lot 389) is noted to have the same die crack on the reverse.
