MADRAS PRESIDENCY, 1803-1808 European Minting, Soho mint Birmingham, proof one cash in copper, 1803, obv. company crest, rampant lion, date below, rev. 'cash' in Persian, (Pr. 213, KM. 315). Die crack on reverse (9 o'clock), attractive, uneven light tone, very rare.

Ex. J. Gartner Collection. The die crack on the silver proof cash in previous lot, is also noted to have the same die crack on the reverse on the copper proof.
