AURANGZEB, (A.H. 1068-1118, A.D.1658-1707), round Gold mohur, (11.02 grams), struck at Surat mint, issued A.H. 1110 (A.D. 1698-9), Regnal year 42, obv. Aurangzeb name and date at top, rev. mint names at bottom, Regnal year centre right, (cf.BMC 707, Nagpur 1069, cf.Panjab Museum Lahore 1487, Indian Museum Calcutta 1152, KM. SAC 315.45). Good very fine, and scarce.
