HMAS SYDNEY-BARTOLOMEO COLLEONI MEDAL. W.F.C. Norton A.B. Engraved. Good very fine.

Able Seaman William Frederick Cecil Norton was born on 13 April 1908, entered the R.A.N. on 10 February 1927 and served in HMA ships Melbourne, Adelaide Swordsman, Canberra, Tattoo, Stalwart and Sydney. He was killed in action 20 November 1941 in the engagement with the German raider Kormoran.
