AUGUSTUS, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), denarius, Lugdunum mint, issued 2 B.C. - A.D. 4, obv. laureate head to r. of Augustus, rev. Caius and Luvcius Caesars standing facing, shields and spears between them, above on l., simpulum to r., and on r., lituus to l., (RIC 207, S.479). Toned, off centred reverse, otherwise very fine.
