MICHAEL VII, (1071-1078), electrum histamenon nomisma, struck at Constantinople mint, scyphate flan, Class II, obv. bust of Christ facing, with nimbus, rev. Michael VII bust facing bearded wearing loros and crown, in r. hand labarum, and in l. hand globe with cross, (S.1868, DOC 2). Has been mounted, tooled and pitted flan, otherwise nearly very fine/very fine.
