SEPTIMIUS SEVERUS, (A.D. 193-211), aureus, issued 202-210, 7.33 grams, obv. laureate head to right, rev. Roma seated to left, around RESTITVTOR VRBIS, (RIC 288, cf.S.1740). Severe test marks on obverse and reverse, otherwise very good-fine and rare.

ex Hoard found in India and as usual from here with severe test marks on flan for gold quality.
