QUTB AL-DIN II-GHAZI II, (A.H. 572-580) (A.D. 1176-1184), copper dirham, pictorial type, no mint, dated A.H. 577 = A.D.1181-2, obv. Byzantine style busts, resembling the coins of Heraclius and his son (Sun and Mercury), rev. five lined legend, (A.1828, M.1033, S/S 32.1, Edham 43, BMC 386). Polished, otherwise very fine and rare.
