AL-MAHDI, (A.H. 158-169) (A.D. 775-785), silver dirhams, Madinat al Salam mint (Bagdad in Iraq), A.H. 159, 160 (2, variety with extra large dot below), 161, 162, 163 (2, variety two dots above), 164, 165, = A.D. 776 - 782, and a copper fals, not dated, probably Al Kufa, silver mostly with additional field letters or dots, (A.215, 306, M.143-6, cf.M.149). Fine to extremely fine. (10)
