PHILIP IV (1621-1665) COB EIGHT REALES [1633?], assayer E. Obv. VIII to the left of shield, C above E to the right. Struck from the same dies as the coin illustrated in Calico on page 253. (CC type 87). An excessively rare piece struck on a thick dumpy flan with the central portions clear including the mintmark, assayer's initial and denomination, fine.

This mint not previously recorded from the Gilt Dragon.
