PHILIP IV (1621-1665) COB EIGHT REALES [1651], assayer F. (CC type 83, 344;Cb.1754;Yr.1563/4). Struck on a thick squarish flan, good fine.

Again, this coin has the distinctive circles of the Valladolid mint, and although the shield does have slight differences to that of the previous coin, this coin also has the denomination in Roman numerals to the right of the royal arms, another characteristic of this mint.
