COB EIGHT REALES 1652, assayer E, F-8-IIII/PLV-SVL-TRA/E-8-E in three lines between crowned pillars. (CC type 96, 431;Cb.1039;Yr.-). One clear date, slightly double struck with a flan crack and some weak spots but otherwise fine and a clear example of a scarce variety.
