DENARIUS ROME MINT OBV. Laureate draped bust right Rev. COS V PP SPQR OPTIMO PRINC, DANVVIVS in exergue, the Danube reclining left on rocks, cloak above (RIC 100;C.136;Sear 982). Good very fine.

Refers to the crossing of the Danube in the Dacian campaigns of 101-2 and 105-6 A.D. Bought R Loosely 1989.
