VESPASIAN (A.D. 69-79), denarius, Rome mint, obv. Vespasian laureate head to r., rev. Jupiter, nude standing facing holding sceptre and patera, an altar at his feet. (RIC 124a, C.222, S.776). Attractive round, some mint lustre, good very fine, scarce.
