AUGUSTUS, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), Copper tessera, obv. head of Augustus to l., rev. VII in laurel wreath, (Buttrey Num. Chron. 1973, table B, No.7. VII, notes a specimen exists of this type and number in the British Museum, also C.40 p.250,Vol.VIII). Holed, otherwise fine and very rare.
