EGYPT, Ptolemy I (323-283 B.C.), tetradrachm, 13.5 grams, issued c.305-283 B.C., Alexandria mint, obv. Diademed head of Ptolemy I to r., rev. eagle standing to l., on thunderbolt, to l. P and monogram of Pi,A and P, (Sv.255, SNG Cop.70, S.7762). Rough surface, otherwise nearly very fine.
