MACEDON, Kingdom of Alexander III (the Great), (336-323 B.C.), plated tetradrachm, 13.7 grams, struck 325-300 B.C., Uncertain Eastern mint, obv. head of Herakles right clad in lion skin, rev. Zeus enthroned to left, no monograms or symbols in field, (cf.S.6713, Price 4004). Good fine.
