MACEDON, Kingdom of Alexander III (the Great), (336-323 B.C.), tetradrachm, 16.0 grams, struck 323-320 B.C., 'Amphipolis' mint, obv. head of Herakles right clad in lion skin, rev. Zeus enthroned to left, aplustre symbol in field, (cf.S.6713, Price 129). Nearly fine.
