MACEDON, Alexander III (the Great), tetradrachm, 336-323 B.C., (16.69 grams), Babylon mint, issued 325-323 B.C., obv. head of Herakles to r., clad in lion's skin, rev. Zeus enthroned to l., monogram over M under throne, astagalos to l. in field, (S.6713, P.3610). Good fine.
