ITALY, Etruria, Populonia, (c.350-265 B.C.), didrachm, 8.22 grams, obv. Gorgonion head facing, XX below, rev. plain, (BMC 8, SNG Forbat 7, same dies). Very worn obverse dies in a deteriated state, fine and rare.

ex Sotheby sale Nov. 14, 1979 (lot 6, part). Part of a small hoard.
