MACEDON, Kingdom of Alexander III (the Great), (336-323 B.C.), distater, 16.9 grams, struck 330-320 B.C., Amphipolis mint, obv. head of Athena helmeted to right, rev. winged Nike standing to left, cantharus to left, (S.6700, Price 167). Very fine and rare.
