EAST INDIA COMPANY, Bombay Presidency, Indian Design, Surat mint, 1800-1815, in the name of Shah Alam II (A.H.1173-1221, A.D. 1759-1806), gold double panchia or ten rupees, (7.9 grams), with Regnal Year 5[1], privy mark No.1 (3 lozenges 1 over 2), dumpy flan, early issue, without A.H. date, (cf.Pr. 250-1, cf.KM. SAC 667). The denomination unknown, extremely fine and apparently unpublished.
