ITALY, Campania, Neapolis, (c.400-340 B.C.), silver stater or didrachm, (7.19 grams), obv. head of nymph to left, die deteriation before and behind neck, rev. man-faced bull to left, crowned by flying Nike, in exergue [NE]OPOLIT[WN], (cf.S.297, Sambon 358, SNG ANS 288 same obverse die). Off centred both sides, otherwise good fine, lightly toned.
