QUEEN VICTORIA, bronze coinage, pattern penny, 1860, by J. Moore, in copper-gilt, obv. laureate head to left, rev. Britannia seated left, with emblems, no inner circle or legend, plain edge, (Peck 2128, Freeman 855). Brilliant as struck, FDC and extremely rare.

Ex. Dr. E. A. Johnstone Collection, purchased by A.H. Baldwin c.1973, and Spink Auctions, London, Sale 95, November 25, 1992 (lot 397).
