PARTHIA, Kingdom of, Mithradates I, (c.171-138 B.C.), silver drachm, (4.01 grams), Hekatompylos mint, obv. large bust to left in bashlyk, rev. archer seated right on omphalos, three line inscription, with blundered combination of **QEDU* and ME**GALOU* legends above, (cf.S.7329, cf.Sellwood 10.15, Shore 18 [this coin]). A major legend variant, very fine/good very fine and extremely rare.
