WILLIAM I, (1066-1087), silver penny, Bonnet type, London mint, issued 1068-1070, obv. crowned diademed bust facing with two fillets at each side, rev. cross voided with annulet in centre, pellet between each limb pile in each angle, around recut over +IIIIDOLF ON EO (Audolf of York), (S.1251, North 842, BMC ii). Cracked across coin, otherwise good fine, rare.
