JAPAN, Kaga Province, Hanafuri, c.1611, silver oban 62 x 31 mms, (29.9 grams), (4 monne 3 bu) uniface, with two rectangular counterstamps with tresor of maze around the rectangular border, (Takekawa H., Les Monnaies Japonaises d'or et d'Argent, p.147.2). Nearly extremely fine, with old dark tone, very rare.
