CONSTANTINE IV, (668-685), gold solidus, Constantinople mint, Class IV, issued 681-685, (4.16 grams), officina A, obv. helmeted three-quarter cuirassed bust to right, with frontal crest and plume, holding spear and shield, around P CONST A NPS P P A, rev. Cross potent on three steps, around VICTORA AVGUA, (S.1157, DOC (14 type), cf.BMC 13, cf.DOC.12a). Has been mounted, weak in places, otherwise nearly very fine.
