JUSTIN II, (A.D.565-578), gold solidus, Constantinople mint, (4.46 grams), obv. helmeted and cuirassed bust of Justin II facing, without beard, holding globe surmounted by Victory and shield, D N I VSTI NVS PP AVC around, rev. +VICTORI A AVCCCI, around, CONOB in exergue, C in left field, Constantinopolis seated facing head right, holding spear and cross on globe, (S.348, cf.D.O.7c, BMC 15). About uncirculated with full mint bloom. rare in this condition.
