ANASTASIUS I, (A.D. 491-518), follis (large module), issued 512-518, Constantinople mint, (19.12 grams), obv. diademed draped bust to r., rev M over mintmark CON, with stars left and right, and cross above, Officina E, (S.19, DOC. 23). Large flan, field punch on O in CON, otherwise very fine.
