TIBERIUS, (A.D. 14-37), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 14-37, (3.95 grams), obv. laureate head of Tiberius to right, around TI CAESAR DIVI AVG F AVGVSTVS, rev. PONTIF MAXIM, Livia seated to right, with vertical sceptre and branch, (S.567, RIC 30, BMC 48). Slightly off centred on the obverse, well centred on the reverse, unevenly toned, otherwise nearly extremely fine and rare in this condition.
