ELAGABALUS, (A.D. 218-222), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 219, (3.17 grams, obv. laureate bust of Elagabalus draped to right, around IMP ANTO NINVS AVG, rev. around P M TR P II [CO]S II P P, Pax running to left, raising right hand with branch and sceptre, (S.-, RIC 21, RSC 143). Off centred on reverse, golden red tone, otherwise extremely fine.
