BITHYNIA, Kingdom of, Prusias I, (c.228-185 B.C.), AE 26, (9.5 grams), obv. Apollo head to left, wearing wreath, rev. winged Athena standing to left crowning the king's name, **PROUSIOU*, to right **BASILEWS*, monogram to left, (S.7260, BMC 4 [P.209]). Attractive dark green patina, nearly extremely fine, scarce.
