MACEDON, Kingdom of, Alexander III, (336-323 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.2 grams), Aspendus mint, posthumous issue year 19 = 194-3 B.C., obv. head of Herakles to right wearing lion skin with dotted border, countermarked with Seleucid anchor, rev. Zeus seated on throne to left, eagle in outstretched hand, **AS IQ in left field, to right **ALEXANDR[OU], (cf.S.6713, Price 2898, BMC 2898a-b, Muller 1211). Good fine/fine, scarce.
