ITALY, Calabria, Tarentum (Taras), (380-345 B.C.), silver stater, (6.89 grams), obv. warrior on horse to left galloping holding shield, A below, rev. Taras astride a dolphin to left, **S* below, [TA]PA**[S]* below, (cf.S.337, Vl.435, SNG ANS 927 same dies). Porosity on reverse, good fine/very good.
