LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR OF SOUTH AUSTRALIA, Official civil uniform including full dress coat, cape, trousers, cocked hat laced and braided, ceremonial sword with sword knot, scabbard, in a doe skin lined case. Uniform and hat are contained in their own metal cases. This uniform was worn by the Lieutenant Governor of South Australia Sir John Mellis Napier. Good very fine.(7 items)
Sir John Mellis Napier born 1882, Judge of the Supreme Court of South Australia 1924-1966, Lieut Governor of South Australia 1942-1968, died 1972.
