THE BANK OF NORTH QUEENSLAND LIMITED, proof, one pound on cardboard, uniface, Townsville, 1st January 1889, but in pencil March 11th 1889, no number, three circle cancellations below, Perkins Bacon & Co. London, (cf.MVR fig. 96 p.93). 'March 11th 1889' in pencil lower right, three cancellation holes, beside manager, corners angled cut, glue adhesion in corners on back, otherwise extremely fine and rare.
