GERMANY, Bavaria, Ludwig, I (1825-1848), silver thaler, 1837, rev. with Order of St. Michael as Order of Merit, (KM.415). A superb proof-like brilliant example, with an iridescent red and blue mottled tone, uncirculated and probably one of the finest known.

Ex. Jerry and Sharon Bobbe Collection, the lot comes with a plastic labelled sealed case to house the coin.
