ITALY, Calabria, Taras, (272-235 B.C.), silver stater (6.256 grams), obv. naked boy rider crowning stationary horse to right, below **AGAY A PXO**S, in two lines, rev. Taras astride a dolphin to left, holding a distaff and a kantharos, lighted torch to right, **TAPAS below, (cf.S.374, cf.Vl.852 (similar dies, cf.SNG ANS 1180). Good fine, scarce.
