M. SERGIUS SILUS, silver denarius, obverse brockage, issued 116-115 B.C., Rome Mint, (3.71 g), Obv. Helmeted bust of Roma to r. in front EX. S.C, behind ROMA *, Rev. incuse version of the obverse as a brockage, (S. 163, C.286/1, cf.BMC Italy 512, Sear Sergia 1a (p.87.). Good very fine, very rare.

Ex Dr V.J.A. Flynn Collection and previously from Noble Numismatics with their tickets.
