MACEDON, Roman Provincial issue, (c.95-70 B.C. De Callatay chronology), silver tetradrachm, (16.59 g), obv. head of Alexander the Great to right, with horn of Ammon and flowing hair, MAKE**DO[NWN]* behind head, rev. AESILLAS / Q above club between money chest and quaestor's chair, all within olive wreath, (S.1463, SNG Cop 1330, SNG Lockett 1543). Toned, very fine.

Ex Dr V.J.A.Flynn Collection and previously CNG Auction 203, lot 75 with ticket.
