THRACE, (Moesia Inferior), Marcianopolis, Caracalla and Julia Domna, (A.D. 211-217), AE 27, (11.69 g), obv. Caracalla laureate head to right facing Julia Domna head to left, around legend, rev. four column temple with standing Sarapis to left, around V**P* KVNTILIAN OV MAPKIAN O**POLI T*, E in field within temple, (cf.S.2707, Varbanov 1050, Pfeiffer 186, Pick 689). Brown patina, very fine/nearly extremely fine and rare in this condition.
