Parthia, Kingdom of, Darius (c.70 B.C.), (Shore assigns to to Phraates III, 70-57 B.C.), silver drachm, (3.98 grams), Margiane mint, obv. long bust to left with very short beard, wearing diadem, rev. archer seated to right, seven line inscription, M over A under bow, type with **FILELLHNOS*, (cf.S.7416; Sellwood 36.16 variant, Shore 159 [this coin]). Nearly extremely fine, scarce.
