Q. ANTONIUS BALBUS, (c.83-2 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.77 g), obv. Jupiter laureate head to right, S C behind, plain before, rev. Victory in quadriga to right, H below, Q ANTO BALB/PR in exergue, (S.279, Cr.364/1d, Syd.742b, B.Antonina 1). Serrated edge, toned, nearly extremely fine.

The issue is from the main faction in Rome opposing Sulla.
