IONIA, Smyrna, (c.85-75 B.C.), AE 23, (14.33 g), Mithradatic Wars issue by Hermogenes and Phrixos as magistrates, obv. diademed head of Mithradates VI of Pontos to right, rev. Nike standing right, holding wreath and palm frond, to right **SMURNAIWN*, to left **ERMOGENHS /FPIXOS* in two lines to left, (S.4575, BMC 118, Milne, Autonomous 340, Callatay pl.LI, SNG von Aulock -, SNG Cop.1206). Near extremely fine with a green-brown patina.
