PONTUS, Amisos, (86-65 B.C.), AE 20, (7.84 g), obv. laureate head of Zeus to right, rev. eagle with flapping wings to left looking back, standing on thunderbolt, in exergue **AMISOU*, monogram of **RDI* to left, (S.3644, SNG BM 1221-1225, SNG Cop. 24-5, Malloy 14b); another Amisos, (c.2nd-1st century B.C.), AE 20, (8.58 g), obv. head of young Dionysos to right wreathed with ivy, rev. cista mystica, with thyrsos placed diagonally, monograms to left and right, **AMISOU* below, (S.3640, BMC 56). Nearly extremely fine and both scarce, first with surface oxidation. (2)
