ITALY, Calabria, Taras, (272-235 B.C.), silver stater, (6.47 g), obv. naked boy rider crowning stationary horse to right, below **IW PVR OS*, above to left, FI, rev. Taras astride a dolphin to left, holding a cornucopiae and trident, to right a bee, **TAPAS below, (cf.S.374, Vl.855, SNG ANS 1181-4 similar dies). Good very fine.
